Monday - Shoulder impingement
I have been having shoulder issues for 4 years now. The pain comes and goes and is the worst at the morning. Sometimes I cannot sleep since it feels like there is a knife stuck in my shoulder. It is a rotator cuff injury from inproper training.
So I did an MRI and nothing is torn or seriously injured its only a supraspinatus tendinits. I am now more than ever focused to get rid of my shouler problems for good.
So this currently I am in my first phase of rehabilitation which inclues basic stability exercises and pain and inflamation management.
What I have found to help relieve a pain almost immediatly are two things. First one is passive dead hang, which I have been doing for some time since reading this book https://www.amazon.com/Shoulder-Solution-Prevention-Revised-Expanded/dp/1589096428 from Dr. Kirch who is an orthopedics surgeon.
Second one is stretching of pectoralis minor, secundary pecs muscle which origins from 3-5 rib and attaches to corroid process of scapula. Check out this stretch from wizzard Emmet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ7tgOHj9vM.
So other then that, I do some exercises toi stabilize my scapula which will be provied in vieo form shortly.
